About Prospeed RS683™Xtreme Performance Brake Fluid

When I originally began the development process of Prospeed GS610 it was with the highest goals in mind. I wanted to create a brake fluid that surpassed all the industry "old school" products. I looked at an industry niche that hadn't improved any of their products, in some cases, for several decades. Now can you think of another type of product that literally has had not one single improvement is 40 - 50 years? No and neither could I.

So I set out to develop what would be an new industry standard brake fluid. A brake fluid that everyone from auto enthusiast guys to Formula 1 teams could use for better braking performance. And after the product was established in the market place I planned on continuing the research and development in order to continually improve upon the blend that was Prospeed GS610™.

Prospeed GS610™ was well excepted into the market; gaining new customer, loyal users, race teams, distributors and retailers in rapid manner. In fact Prospeed GS610™ became the first brake fluid in motorsports history to become an "Official Brake Fluid" when we signed a partnership with the American Le Mans Series and the Speed World Challenge in 2004. And in 2005, having partnered with the IndyCar® Series and AndrettiGreen Racing, Prospeed GS610™ won the Indianapolis 500 with Dan Wheldon driving. This was was a milestone moment for Prospeed™.

Even with all this success, like many small businesses, Prospeed was cash starved. So in the interest of having the capital to continue our expansion and sales thereby gaining market share, myself and Prospeed™ entered into a license and consulting agreement with MotorSports Emporium, a small penn-stock company based in Scottsdale, AZ.

The positive event of this arrangement was we now had the resources to take Prospeed GS610™ to the next level. The first thing we did was produce 38,000+ bottles of Prospeed GS610™. However right about the time we produced product, the relationship with MotorSports Emporium fell apart.

Long story short, (I'm told I don't know how to tell a short story ;-0) MotorSports Emporium did a very poor job of sales and marketing, giving away quite a bit of Prospeed GS610™ and selling just a couple of pallets to a distributor in Australia. Ultimately by the end of 2006, one year after production and with less than 12 months remaining on the shelf life performance guarantee, a small motorsports business owner in Southern California purchased all the remaining inventory of approximately 30,000 bottles,

This now unauthorized distributor has also done a rather poor job of selling Prospeed GS610™ and still owns a considerable amount of inventory.

Through recent testing of the product from the unauthorized distributor's inventory Prospeed™ has learned the product in inventory no longer meets the original performance specification, i.e. it no longer has a dry boiling point of 610° Fahrenheit and at least in the bottles we tested, additionally has begun to oxidize.

When I started this endeavor it was to always do the right thing for the customer. In this case I, as the founder and owner of Prospeed™, believe the right thing to do is to replace all customer purchased product with the new product, Prospeed RS683™, thereby ensuring the customer ALWAYS receives the absolute highest quality product from Prospeed™ as possible.
