Prospeed RS683™ & Andretti Autosport
Finish 2nd & 3rd in the Firestone 550K at
Texas Motor Speedway

Prospeed RS683, in it's debut season, and Andretti Autosport triumph again with 2nd and 3rd place podium finishes in the Firestone 550K at Texas Motor Speedway. Dancia Patrick took second and Marco Andretti took 3rd with team mates Tony Kanaan in sixth and Ryan Hunter-Reay right behind him in seventh.

Andretti Autosport placed all for cars in the top seven with a tremendous team effort.

GoDaddy.com driver Danica Patrick and Team Venom Energy driver Marco Andretti led the way with second- and third-place finishes, respectively. Danica ran near the front all night long and battled hard for the lead on several occasions. Marco had to come from deep in the field late in the race and clearly had one of the fastest cars on track.

Team 7-Eleven driver Tony Kanaan also had to fight his way through the field in the back half of the race after losing some ground midway through, but wound up sixth - and moved up a spot in the championship standings to seventh. Ryan Hunter-Reay took the IZOD machine all the way from the 24th starting position to seventh by the end, again proving he can be a factor no matter where he starts.

Prospeed RS683™ has Podium finish at the 94th Indianapolis 500

In it's first year in the IndyCar series Prospeed RS683 Xtreme Performance Brake Fluid™ finishes the 94th running of the Indianapolis 500 with a 3rd place podium finish and two cars in the Top Ten with Andretti Autosport!

Congrats to Marco Andretti and Team Venom Energy Drink for driving to a third-place finish. In just five career Indy starts, Marco and Prospeed RS683 has three top-threes...very impressive for a new brake fluid in its first year.

Team 7-Eleven driver Tony Kanaan also put on a great show. Tony passed 31 cars after starting 33rd to get to second and put himself in a position to win his first "500." Unfortuately fuel became a problem late in the race. Following a qiuck pitstop for a "splash and go" he finished 11th.

GoDaddy.com driver Danica Patrick had the best run of her 2010 season today and brought home a sixth-place finish after starting 23rd. This should give her some great momentum heading into next weekend's race at Texas Motor Speedway.

For Team Window World and Team IZOD, the day ended in frustration. John Andretti was making good progress after starting in the 10th row until contact from another car sent him into the outside retaining wall and ended his race.

For Ryan Hunter-Reay, the outcome was not anywhere near as positive. First, he injured his thumb when the car of Scott Dixon made contact with the #37 machine at the exit of the pit lane. Then, RHR was involved in a frightening incident on the lap 199 of the race after he ran out of fuel and was struck from behind by the car driven by Mike Conway. Our thoughts are with Mike, who suffered a broken leg in the incident. The injury to Ryan's thumb has been determined to be torn ligaments and he will undergo surgery early this week to repair the damage..

Next race..... Saturday, 5 June 2010 - The Firestone 550K at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. Watch it on Versus at 8:00 PM (ET)

Congratulations to Robb Holland and 3Zero3 Motorsports for a podium finish at Mosport

In the 3Zero3 Motorsports VW GTI, that was taken from street car to recording setting race car in only 27 days, (read the 3Zero3 Motorsports construction blog here) Robb Holland and the 3Zero3 team placed 3rd after leading much of the race and setting a new track record for the class.

"We were leading the race when an engine issue reduced our power by about 30 horsepower. It was a real challenge to not drop back farther but between the superb job 3Zero3 Motorsports did setting up the supension and the incredible braking control I had with the StopTech brakes and RS683 brake fluid, I was able to make up for some of the power reduction and still end up with a podium finish," said Holland.

Congratulations to Ryan Hunter-Reay
and Andretti Autosport
for a 1st place finish
in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

Ryan Hunter-Reay, driving the #37 IZOD Racing car, won the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Ryan held off Justin Wilson by just over 5 seconds to give Andretti Autosport its first win since Michael Andretti became the sole owner of the team. There was specail significance to winning at Long Beach as Michael Andretti captured his first career here in 1986. Now, 24 years later, Long Beach once again becomes the site of an Andretti first as this is his first win as the sole team owner.

While the other Andretti Autosport drivers, Tony Kanaan, Danica Patrick and Marco Andretti shared in the team's success, the day brought mixed results for each of them. Tony Kanaan and the #11 Team 7-Eleven car had a strong race, finishing in fifth position.  The # 26 Venom Racing car of Marco Andretti finished 14th while teammate Danica Patrick in the #7 GoDaddy car was able to finish in 16th position.
